The complete suite of 7 line engravings in the original ribbon-tie paperboard portfolio. Including: title page; contents page with image titles; forward by Stanley William Hayter; and introductory page with image subject description relating to Greek mythology by James Goetz.
The engravings all superb, finely detailed impressions, with rich burr throughout, on full sheets of heavy buff wove paper. The prints and introductory pages in excellent condition, with slight toning to the sheet edges. The portfolio with surface and edge wear; the interior paper flaps torn at the folds.
